The Museum of Art Lucerne is the ideal place to meet both contemporary art and other art-lovers. With a wide range of opportunities on offer, it creates space to broaden your own personal access to art, and deepen your experience and understanding of art. The Museum seeks to address "Everyman and Everywoman", young and old, amateurs and experts alike.
The title "Treffpunkt Kunst" (art meeting point) encompasses all the opportunities for art education offered by the Museum of Art Lucerne. They are conceived as a whole, and their diversity reflects the Museum's attitude to art and to the public.
Events are organised to accompany the individual exhibitions, such as lectures, discussions, talks by artists, film screenings and specialist occasions. These are listed in the relevant exhibition prospectus, the agenda on the website, by newsletter and daily in the Neue Luzerner Zeitung.
The new Museum of Art Lucerne seeks close collaboration with the educational institutions of Central Switzerland in the field of art education, from primary schools to technical colleges and the university.
