Diese Werke gibt sie dem Kunstmuseum als Dauerleihgaben. Die Ank\u00e4ufe erfolgen gem\u00e4ss dem Sammlungskonzept des Kunstmuseums Luzern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alle Mitglieder des Stiftungsrats geben mindestens je 2\u2019000 Franken pro Jahr f\u00fcr die Ank\u00e4ufe. Der Stiftungsrat will auch Betriebe und Personen aus seinem pers\u00f6nlichen Umfeld daf\u00fcr gewinnen, dem Museum Spenden oder Erbschaften zu geben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In den letzten Jahren konnten mit Hilfe der Stiftung viele bedeutende Werke gekauft werden. Zum Beispiel von:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Laure Prouvost, Turner-Preis-Tr\u00e4gerin 2013.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christine Streuli, Schweizer Malerin. Sie hat die Schweiz 2007 an der Biennale Venedig vertreten.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clemens von Wedemeyer, deutscher Medienk\u00fcnstler.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vivian Suter, Schweizer K\u00fcnstlerin, die 2021 den Schweizer Grand Prix Kunst erhielt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Stiftung besitzt aktuell rund 200 Werke. Sie sind zusammen 25 Millionen Franken wert. Der Stiftungsrat besteht aus Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten aus der Zentralschweiz. Jedes Jahr findet die Stiftungsratssitzung satt. An der Sitzung werden die Ankaufsprojekte vorgestellt und besprochen. Die Stiftungsr\u00e4t:innen treffen sich f\u00fcr verschiedene Veranstaltungen. Sie machen auch Ausfl\u00fcge zu Museen, die BEST-Werke ausgeliehen haben. Oder sie besuchen Ateliers. Sie geh\u00f6rt zu den Pionierinnen der feministischen Avantgarde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Skulptur erinnert an einen rosafarbenen Vogel oder einen Schmetterling. Die rosa Farbe verwendet die K\u00fcnstlerin oft, sie ist ihr Erkennungsmerkmal. Die Farbe wird als weiblich angesehen, doch f\u00fcr Maria Pini\u0144ska-Bere\u015b steht sie f\u00fcr eine feministische Kritik. Ihr Rosa setzt sich vom Rot ab, das bis Ende der 1980er-Jahre im damals kommunistischen Polen \u00fcberall zu sehen war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mithilfe der BEST Art Collection Luzern kann dieses besondere Werk f\u00fcr die Sammlung des Kunstmuseums Luzern angekauft werden. Es st\u00e4rkt die Position von K\u00fcnstlerinnen in der Sammlung und den Sammlungsschwerpunkt konzeptuell-performativer Kunst der 1960er- bis 1980er-Jahre.
