We are zentral! The annual exhibition presents a comprehensive survey of current art in Central Switzerland. A jury of experts selects the most interesting of the portfolios entered and acknowledges them with a place in the exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Luzern. The result is a diverse media-transcending show in which the dynamics and potential of art in Central Switzerland can be seen and experienced. Current trends in contemporary art are taken up as well as the peculiarities of local artistic creation. zentral! is a platform and talent factory with aura and tradition, a cosmos that reaches beyond the regional horizon.

During the opening day not only is the Jury Prize / Prize of the Central Swiss Cantons awarded but also the Exhibition Prize of the Kunstgesellschaft Luzern: the exhibition Solo at the Kunstmuseum Luzern the following year.
