Getting here and Parking
The Kunstmuseum Luzern is located directly next to Lucerne train station. Parking for people with disabilities is available in the station parking P1+P2.
Assistance Dogs
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed in the museum and the café.
Accompanying persons
Assistants do not pay admission. People with an IV pension receive a discounted admission price.
Elevator
You can reach the Kunstmuseum Luzern on the 4th floor directly via the elevator on the first floor. There is barrier-free access from the train station as well as from the shopping passage (left of the COOP) and from the station parking P1+P2 in the basement.
Café in the Kunstmuseum
The café is wheelchair accessible. It is located on the same floor as the museum and is reached via the lobby. The café and the museum are accessible independently from the lobby.
Entrance and Passages
All rooms of the Kunstmuseum Luzern are fully accessible and wheelchair friendly. Lift, ticket desk and museum entrance are close by.
Wheelchair, Rollator
A wheelchair and a rollator are available at the museum’s ticket desk.
Restroom
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet by the ticket desk. We would like to remind all visitors that these restrooms are reserved exclusively for people with disabilities and should be accessible at all times. Thank you for your support.
Seating Options
Folding chairs can be taken on the tour. There are benches in individual rooms.
Silent Time Slots
On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after 4 pm, there is usually less people in the museum.
